Notice is here by given for a meeting of the City Council of the City of Cuero to be held on September 9, 2019 at 5:15 pm located at City Hall Council Chambers, 212 E. Main Street, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items.  The City Council of the City of Cuero will meet, consider, deliberate and may take action on all agenda items.

First reading of an ordinance

7.1.

Discuss, consider and possible action on first reading of Ordinance No 2019-17, amending Title X, Chapter 10, Division 2, Sections 10.06.051, 10.06.053 and adds new section 10.06.055 of the Cuero Code of Ordinances.

7.2.

Discuss, consider and possible action on first reading of Ordinance No. 2019-18, abolishing the City of Cuero cemetery trust fund and directs that all principal and interest be used for improvements to the City of Cueros Municipal Cemetery.

8.1.

Discuss, consider and possible action on Resolution No. 2019-21, nominating W.T."Tony" Allen for the DeWitt County Appraisal District Directors for 2020-2021

8.2.

Discuss, consider and possible action on to approve Resolution No. 2019-22, an IRS Power of Attorney for TML MultiState Intergovernmental Employee Benefits Pool.

Discuss, consider and possible action on Resolution No. 2019-23 approving a Memorandum of Understanding between the Cuero ISD and the City.

9.1.

Discuss, consider and possible action on the date to approve the FY 2019-2020 Tax Rate and Budget

Discuss, consider and possible action on changing the November Council meeting from November 11 to November 12 due to Veterans Day.

Discuss, consider and possible action on Council and staff taking the National Incident Management System(NIMS) training

9.4.

Discuss, consider and possible action on renewing interlocal agreement with DeWitt County for Rabies Control.

9.5.

Discuss, consider and possible action on the requested street closures for the October 26th Market on Main event.

Requested street closures: The 200 block of E. Main Street to Clinton Street closed from Friday, October 25th at 10:00 AM, through Saturday, October 26th at 2:00 p.m. and S. Gonzales Street from E. Main to W. North Railroad Street on Saturday
October 26th from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This will not disturb the traffic flow from the 100 block of E. Main Street onto N. Gonzales Street.

The City Council may convene into executive (closed) session in accordance with the Texas Government Code when necessary and legally justified.
